FundPi — Terms of Service Updated August 31, 2025

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using FundPi, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old and have a valid Pi Network account.
• Where required by the Pi ecosystem, you may need to be KYC-verified.

3. Pi Network Authentication

Login is performed exclusively via the official Pi SDK within the Pi Browser. FundPi does not store your Pi password or private keys.

4. Project Submissions & Content

• You are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and originality of all content you submit.
• Prohibited: scams, illegal activity, infringement, hateful or misleading content.
• Public information: project titles, descriptions, images, goals, updates, and timelines are visible to others.

5. Funding, Fees & Payouts

• Fee: Each project requires a one-time setup fee of 5 Pi (paid at creation).
• 100% of donations go to the project owner; no percentage is deducted from supporter contributions.
• Payouts: Funds are released when either:
  • (a) the funding goal is reached, or
  • (b) the selected duration expires (options: 1 month, 3 months, 6 months)
  whichever comes first.
• All funds remain in escrow until payout conditions are met.

6. Escrow & Fraud Protection

• Donations are held in escrow until payout.
• If a project is found to be fraudulent, FundPi reserves the right to delete it and refund all donations to supporters.
• Escrow ensures that project owners only receive funds under fair and transparent conditions.

7. No Financial Advice

FundPi is a community funding platform, not an investment service. Supporting a project is voluntary and carries risk. No returns are promised or implied.

8. Platform Rules

• No impersonation, spam, or abusive behavior.
• No illegal, fraudulent, or misleading content or activity.
• Respect intellectual property and Pi ecosystem rules.

9. Moderation & Removal

We may review, approve, reject, or remove projects or accounts to protect users and platform integrity. Projects violating these Terms may be deleted and, in cases of fraud, donations refunded to supporters.

10. Intellectual Property

• You retain rights to your content. By submitting, you grant FundPi a license to host and display it on the platform.

11. Limitation of Liability

FundPi is provided “as is.” We are not liable for damages resulting from platform use or user interactions. Responsibility lies with project owners and supporters.

12. Changes to the Platform

Features and policies may be updated. Continued use after updates means acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations. Users may request account deletion.

14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms follow Pi ecosystem policies and general online standards. Disputes should be addressed in good faith with FundPi support.
